Nestled in the heart of Andrano, La Balaustra presents an appealing blend of comfort and value. During my recent eight-night stay in August, I was pleasantly surprised by the large ensuite room featuring a balcony, all for a reasonable price of 35€/pp per night, including breakfast. Mimma and Silvano, the gracious hosts, established a welcoming atmosphere, making it feel like a home away from home. The breakfast was a highlight, showcasing homemade cakes daily. Though the hotel is a short distance from the nearest beach, a car is essential to explore the stunning Salento region. Amenities such as free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and peaceful garden areas enhance the overall experience. In considering both luxury and affordability, La Balaustra is an excellent choice for travelers seeking a memorable stay in southern Italy without overspending. I wholeheartedly recommend this charming B&B for those who appreciate value in their travels.
